MANDATORY CHECK IN:  A coach or team representative from every team must check-in at the Registration/Check-in area prior to the first game.  You must hand in a completed roster with all waivers signed by each team member if over 18, or by parents or guardians if team member is under 18, including those who may not be present the first day.  Any team that has not checked in at the Registration/Check-in area will forfeit ALL games until this task has been completed.

Age: Determined by age as of June 14, 2010.

Team Size: Minimum of 6 players, maximum of 12 team members (including coaches)

Rules & Restrictions: The Utah Summer Games shall be governed by the 2009-2010 NFHS Volleyball Rules Book. All teams must have jerseys numbered, 4 inch front, 6 inch back. Numbers need to be centered and contrasting. Teams will need to provide second referee (down), scorekeeper, libero tracker, scorer and line judges when assigned as the officiating work team within their pool play. Tournament format within pool play will be determined based upon the number of teams and courts availability.

Check-In:

Soccer Teams: All teams must check in on either Tuesday, June 14 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM or, Wednesday, June 15, between Noon and 7:00 PM. at the SUU Sorenson PE Building, 560 W University Blvd., Cedar City.  These will be the only opportunities for check in and teams must arrange for a representative to check the team in during these times.  Teams will not be allowed to participate without first checking the team in.  No additions to team rosters after final check-in are allowed. U-12 through U-19 teams are limited to a roster of 18 players and three coaches.  U-9 through U11 teams are limited to a roster of 14 players and three coaches.  Coaches, or an authorized adult team representative, MUST bring the following for check in:

Athletes and Teams (excluding soccer): need to check in at the SUU Sorenson PE Building, 560 W University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt. Teams should allow for an hour to check in so that they are not late for their first game. Registration will be open on the following days:

All teams must have waivers signed by each team members if they are 18 or older, and by parents/guardians if they are under 18. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS will be given, including for medical withdrawals. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher code may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2011 event or the same sport during the 2012 Utah Summer Games. Exceptions will be made only for the following: entries received after entry deadline; sports or competitions reaching maximum registration capacity; entries received after the maximum number of teams are bracketed or if there are not enough teams or individuals to form a division. Requests must be in writing by email to hutcheson@suu.edu and submitted no later than July 1, 2011. All team voucher requests must be submitted prior to schedules being issued.
