MANDATORY CHECK IN: A coach or team representative from every team must check-in at the Registration/Check-in area prior to the first game. You must hand in a completed roster with all waivers signed by each team member if over 18, or by parents or guardians if team member is under 18, including those who may not be present the first day. Any team that has not checked in at the Registration/Check-in area will forfeit ALL games until this task has been completed.

Utah Summer Games has partnered with USA Volleyball Intermountain Region for the Junior Girls and Junior Boys divisions. Any nonmembers of USA Volleyball can enter the Utah Summer Games Junior Volleyball divisions by completing an USA Volleyball-Intermountain Region 2008 Individual Membership Form and pay a $5.00 per person One-Time Event Fee. Go online to: http://www.imvolleyball.org/index.php/Utah-Summer-Games/Utah-Summer-Games/ click on Documents and Forms, scroll down to Juniors and click on USAV Individual Membership Form 2008 to print membership form. Send each completed and signed 2008 Individual Membership Form and $5.00 check payable to IVA, along with your Team Registration and Entry Fee to the Utah Summer Games. Utah Summer games will forward all 2008 Individual Membersip Forms and One-Time Fees to the Intermountain Region office.
Age: Determined by age as of September 1, 2008.
Team Size:
Minimum of 6 players, maximum of 15 players, plus 2 Coaches.
Rules & Restrictions:
The Utah Summer Games shall be governed by the 2007-2008 USA Volleyball Domestic Competition Regulations. All teams must have jerseys numbered, 4 inch front, 6 inch back. Numbers need to be centered and contrasting. Teams will need to provide second referee (down), scorekeeper, libero tracker, scorer and line judges when assigned as the officiating work team within their pool play. All college volleyball players must play in the Women Open division. No more than two College players from the same NCAA team may play on the same team in the Utah Summer Games. NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA players may not be coached by their college coaches/staff. Current National team members and professional volleyball players are excluded from volleyball events in the Summer Games. Tournament format within pool play will be determined based upon the number of teams and court availability.
How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your registration form, send it to: Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720. Use Team Registration Form.
Refund Policy: Due to competition scheduling difficulties and USG planning and supplies requirements there are no refunds. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2008 or the same sport during the 2009 Utah Summer Games. Requests must be in writing by email to USG@suu.edu.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Athletes should check in at the Sorenson PE Building, 460 West University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt, valuable coupons and other assorted goodies. The SUU Sorenson PE Building is open June 6-7 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 9-10 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 12 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and daily beginning June 13, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day except Sunday. All teams must have waivers signed by all team members if over 18 or by parents or guardians if under 18. No exceptions.
