How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your registration form, send it to Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720.
Registration Deadline: Final online registration is Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Onsite registration will be due at check-in. Use Individual Registration Form. For doubles competition, list teammate under "Additional Information" next to event description.
Refund Policy: Due to competition scheduling difficulties and USG planning and supplies requirements there are no refunds. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2008 or the same sport during the 2009 Utah Summer Games. Requests must be in writing by email to USG@suu.edu.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Athletes should check in at the Sorenson PE Building, 460 West University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt, valuable coupons and other assorted goodies. The SUU Sorenson PE Building is open June 6-7 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 9-10 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 12 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and daily beginning June 13, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day except Sunday. All teams must have waivers signed by all team members if over 18 or by parents or guardians if under 18. No exceptions.
Age Division: Division is determined by age on July 31, 2008.
Rules: United States Table Tennis Association. All matches will be the best of five games. All games will be to 11 points. Winner must win by 2 points.
Equipment/Clothing: USATT approved equipment only. Rackets must be covered with pimpled or smooth rubber and have one side red and one side black. Plain wood, plain sponge and sandpaper rackets are illegal. 40mm white balls will be used. Clothing must be of a solid, non-white color for both upper and lower garments in accordance with USATT dress code. Shoes must have rubber soles.
Format:
Open Singles: Players placed in groups of three to four players each. Each group will play ladder format round-robin to determine division. First place finisher will advance to Open Division, second to Class A and third to Class B and fourth to Class C. The second round is a round-robin of each division to determine winners.
Women's Singles: Open to all females. Competition will be round-robin or double-elimination based on number of entrants.
Open Doubles: Teams placed in divisions by ability. Each division will be either a round-robin or double elimination.
Age Divisions: Age divisions will be either double elimination or round robin, based on number of entrants. Participants can enter up to two age divisions.

In his 22nd year as Table Tennis Coordinator. President of the Wasatch Front Table Tennis Association for over 30 years. Received his training as a competitor, organizer and coach at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Is a 15-time Utah State Open Champion. Also a certified USATT coach.
