Protocol/Rules Mini Clinic for all US Masters Swimmers and Swimmers 18 and older: Utah Summer Games wishes to invite all 18 & Over Masters Swimmers to a Mini Swim Clinic.  This clinic will take place 1/2 hour prior to warm-ups on Thursday (6/10), Friday (6/11), and Saturday (6/12), (if you can't be there the first day contact Lynne Lund for other times) at the Southern Utah University Natatorium.  The clinic, which will be presented by Lynne Lund - National and World Masters champion and record holder, will give swimmers information on swimming protocols for masters swimming and also go over stroke and meet rules. You only need to attend once.

Lynne Lund swims for San Diego Swim Masters but lives in St. George, Utah where she has started a U.S. Masters training program.  She also is the technique coach for DART, the local U.S.A. team, and is a private swim coach/consultant.

She took up swimming again at 52, after a 35 year hiatus, joining masters at 54.  In the last 14 years, she has medaled in World Championships in New Zealand and Morocco, including gold, taken all first in several Nationals and has been on several world-record breaking relays.  She has dozens of National Champion titles and All-American titles (#1 for the year in an event), and two All-Star titles (#1 overall for the year.)

Injuries currently prevent her kicking the left leg so she does less than half of her usual daily workouts of 4,000 yards and two hours cross training.

She has been giving this clinic for about 11 years at meets in several states, (usually for the Senior Olympics.)
