MANDATORY CHECK IN: A coach or team representative from every team must check-in at the Registration/Check-in area prior to the first game. You must hand in a completed roster with all waivers signed by each team member if over 18, or by parents or guardians if team member is under 18, including those who may not be present the first day. Any team that has not checked in at the Registration/Check-in area will forfeit ALL games until this task has been completed.

How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your registration form, send it to: Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720. Use Team Registration Form.
Registration Deadline: Registrations must be received by May 30, 2008.
Refund Policy: Due to competition scheduling difficulties and USG planning and supplies requirements there are no refunds. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2008 or the same sport during the 2009 Utah Summer Games. Requests must be in writing by email to USG@suu.edu.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Check-in will be available only Monday, June 11, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the SUU Sorenson PE Building, 400 West University Blvd., Cedar City. This will be the only opportunity for check-in. Teams will not be allowed to participate without first checking the team in. No additions to team rosters (Utah Summer Games Roster) after final check-in are allowed. Coaches, or an authorized adult team representative, MUST bring the following for check-in:
1. Completed Utah Summer Games Team Waiver with every coach and player listed. The form must include each players full name and birth date and the waiver form must be signed by the parent of each player who is younger than 18 years of age and by each player who is 18 years of age or older.
2. Teams are encouraged to bring a photo copy of each players birth certificate in case questions arise regarding eligibility. If a question is brought up about the age of a player, it is the team's responsibility to prove the players age.
3. ASA Registered teams must turn in a sanctioned ASA roster to the tournament director one hour prior to their first game.
Team Size: 18 players maximum, plus two coaches.
Sanctioning: Utah ASA sanctioned tournament. Non-ASA teams must pay an additional $40 registration fee.
Format: Pool play into double-elimination bracket. Four games guaranteed.

Currently serving as the Junior Olympic Commissioner for the State of Utah and as the Northern Utah District Commissioner for the Utah Amateur Softball Association. President of the Northern District Officials Association of the Utah High School Activities Association from 1990 to present.
