How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your registration form, send it to Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720.
Registration Deadline: Final online registration is due by Wednesday, June 4. Onsite registration is one hour before event. Use Individual Registration Form. List doubles partner name under “Additional Information” by event description.
Refund Policy: Due to competition scheduling difficulties and USG planning and supplies requirements there are no refunds. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2008 or the same sport during the 2009 Utah Summer Games. Requests must be in writing by email to USG@suu.edu.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Athletes should check in at the Sorenson PE Building, 460 West University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt, valuable coupons and other assorted goodies. The SUU Sorenson PE Building is open June 6-7 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 9-10 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 12 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and daily beginning June 13, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day except Sunday. All teams must have waivers signed by all team members if over 18 or by parents or guardians if under 18. No exceptions.

Rules: National Horseshoe Pitchers Association rules. Finals are sanctioned by NHPA. Use established NHPA Ringer Average for registration. If you have no established average, contact the sport coordinator.
Format: Singles competition at the 40-foot distance is for men over 18 and under 70, women, junior boys and girls under age 18 may pitch 30 ft., boys/girls 9 and under may pitch 20 ft.
Doubles competition is open to all participants. To determine percentage, add the regular percentage of both partners and divide by two.
Singles: 40 shoe games depend on number of entries.
Doubles: Walking doubles 40 shoe games.
Any adult, junior or 30-foot distance player may combine their pitching percentages (divided by two) to enter doubles competition.
