Divisions:
Divisions will be a little different this year. All divisions will be required to be mixed in a 6:1 or 5:2 format, offence will decide. That means all
teams will be Co-ed and offence will decide if they will play one girl or two girls.
There will also be seperate divisions in experience level; a novice bracket and an advanced bracket. Please specify which bracket you would like to be
placed into upon registration.
Format:
A Round-Robin format will be played Friday to determine seeds for Saturday. Saturday will be a single or double elimination bracket depending on the
number of teams to that register. Fridays games will be played to eleven or to one hour. Saturdays games will be played to 15 or to one and one half
hour.
Uniforms:
Each team will be responsible for bringing matching shirts. Please bring one colored and one white. These shirts can be regular t-shirts and
you may use the USG issued athlete shirt as your white jersey.
Note: No alcohol will be allowed on the fields. Utah Summer games is a family focused event.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Athletes need to check in at the SUU Sorenson PE Building, 560 W University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt, valuable coupons and other assorted goodies. Registration will be open Thursday, June 10 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; daily beginning Friday, June 11 through Friday, June 25, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM (every day except Sunday); and Saturday, June 26, from 7:00 AM to Aprox 4:00 PM. All teams must have waivers signed by each team members if they are 18 or older, and by parents/guardians if they are under 18. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS will be given for medical withdrawals. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher code may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2010 event or the same sport during the 2011 Utah Summer Games. Exceptions will be made only for the following: entries received after entry deadline; sports or competitions reaching maximum registration capacity; entries received after the maximum number of teams are bracketed or if there are not enough teams or individuals to form a division. Requests must be in writing by email to hutcheson@suu.edu.
