Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner to Visit Utah Summer Games Wrestling Venue

CEDAR CITY - The 19th-Annual Utah Summer Games Wrestling venue will be paid a visit by 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2004 United States Olympian Rulon Gardner this Wednesday and Thursday at the Southern Utah University Multi-Purpose Center gymnasium.
The visit, which will begin Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., and continue Thursday from 8:00 a.m.-12 noon, is part of the Team Extreme Wrestling Camps and Clinics Summer Wrestling Camp held in conjunction with and prior to the Utah Summer Games wrestling competition slated for June 18-19.
“We are excited to have an Olympic Gold Medalist and 2004 Olympian visiting our Utah Summer Games wrestling venue,” Utah Summer Games Executive Director Kyle Case said. “Rulon is a great example of what hard work and dedication can lead to and hopefully the athletes will strive for that after they meet him.”
