The JAZZ "Bear"

The Jazz Bear was introduced to Utah’s NBA Jazz fans Nov. 4, 1994, and has thrilled audiences with its combination of pyrotechnics, gymnastics and acrobatics during Jazz games and halftimes ever since.

A 2006 inductee into the Mascot Hall of Fame, The Bear has been a regular feature at the Utah Summer Games. The iconic mascot donates time to schools, community centers and hospitals through programs such as the “Fun to be Fit” and “Read to Achieve” programs.

The Bear performs regularly for the Big Brother Big Sisters, Primary Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics and many other youth organizations.
