Cody Wright

Cody Wright is the 2008 PRCA Saddle Bronc World Champion. He was born in Toquerville, Utah, on April Fool’s Day, 1977, and grew up in Hurricane. Cody moved to Milford and graduated from Milford High, and from the College of Eastern Utah with an Associates Degree in Equine Science.  

Wright began rodeoing fulltime in 2001 and quickly established himself as a contender for the world championship with a 12^th place finish in the 2002 money earnings. Cody was derailed in 2005 with a broken left leg but still managed fourth-place money before winning the title in 2008.

Wright and his wife, ShaRee are the parents of three sons – Rusty, Ryder and Stetson -- and a daughter, Lily Jo. The family currently resides in Milford.
